Friday Hot Meal Program: Breaking Bread with the Hungry

Each Friday from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, volunteers from Our Lady of the Fields Church in Millersville, Maryland, prepare and serve hot food to ­­­­approximately 250 hungry individuals from the neighborhood in our Undercroft. Volunteers from St. Vincent’s help coordinate this program and help prepare and serve the food. Case management services are sometimes offered through Health Care for Homeless during the mealtime. Youth with service commitments are encouraged to participate, with their parents. Those wishing to help are requested to contact Peggy Meyer.
